Shown outside of incinerator building are some of the bodies of the 30,000 plus persons killed in the two week period prior to the arrival of some of the men pf the 183rd Engineer Combat Battalion of the 8th Corp of the 3rd Army. Leon Bass, Ph.D. (third from left),a retired Philadelphia public school principal has been lecturing on the Holocaust since 1968. He was an official speaker representing the United States at the first gathering of survivors and liberators from around the world at the State Department in 1981. William A.
